Chawama Skills Training Centre helps learners build practical skills for work, self-employment and enterprise through hands-on vocational training in Chawama, Lusaka.
Who we are
Chawama Skills Training Centre (CSTC), associated with Chawama Youth Project (CYP), provides practical learning opportunities rooted in the needs of the Chawama community. Training is designed to help learners practise useful skills and explore pathways into employment, self-employment and small enterprise.
The Centre’s work brings together vocational learning, workshop practice and production-related activities. Programme availability, entry requirements, levels and fees should be confirmed directly with the Centre.

Gain practical exposure to vehicle maintenance, workshop processes and repair.

Production, enterprise and practical experience
The production unit complements training through practical activities and services linked to food production, automotive repairs, ICT, fashion and textile work, carpentry and furniture production, metal fabrication, electrical work, event-hire cooking services, entrepreneurship and project management.
